Reproductive services offered include breeding soundness examinations, mare infertility management, artificial insemination (fresh/cooled/frozen semen), embryo transfer, embryo vitrification (freezing), short-term embryo and frozen semen storage. No stallion services will be offered at this time.

Surgical services include: castrations, lump removal, laceration repair, and wound management.

Sandhills Equine offers vaccinations, coggins, and health papers in addition to annual health and wellness examinations and dentistry. 

Sandhills Equine is equipped to handle the majority of equine health emergencies. Emergencies include, but are not limited to: medical management of colic, laminitis, sepsis, lacerations, burns, and choke.

We currently offer basic lameness workups in addition to pre-purchase examinations. With a round pen, radiology, and ultrasound capabilities, we are equipped to manage the majority of lameness diagnostics.

It is a great gift to be able to offer a painless option to relieve the suffering of these loyal animals. We promise to treat your equine companion with the utmost care, respect, and dignity during this difficult transition.
